About the event

Diplomania organized the first JSIA annual event, Youth Conclave, 2018 on 26-27 October 2018 in JGU Campus. A two-event included: South Asian Political Forum (Day 1), inviting the Ambassadors from South Asian countries, to enlighten us and share their ideas and valuable experiences in the field of international relations with respect to South Asian politics. The tentative agenda has been set for the Ambassadors Peace and Conflict Talk Series (Day 2), inviting students across universities (including JGU) to present their working research papers. It invited student researches from various backgrounds such as law, business, diplomacy, political science, liberal humanities, negotiations and other IR related subjects to showcase their research skills, creativity and imagination to stimulate the professional superiority and proficiency in the field. The main theme for the papers were “Peace and Conflict” along with the sub-themes . Debate Competition (Day 2), invited debate teams across universities to take part in professional debate competition of four rounds to win cash prizes. The objective of this event was to involve an encouraging, dynamic group of scholars as well as students in the discourse that is most relevant today. It was for the purpose of sensitizing the students and engaging the International affairs experts and scholars so as to generate wider publicity about JSIA and O.P Jindal Global University. It was an attempt to harness the new ideas from the youth involved in the study of global affairs and to tap into the potential students for JGU. .
