European Week

During the European Week at O.P. Jindal Global University, EU Ambassador to India, H.E. Mr. Herve Delphin, delivered a public lecture on “EU in the World: Opportunities and Challenges.” He highlighted the importance of EU-India relations, multilateralism, and a rule-based world order.

In a subsequent Q&A, students discussed trade agreements, green transitions, and counter-terrorism policies. Ambassador Delphin emphasized the need for “trickle-down diplomacy” and better public engagement to address the EU’s image deficit, suggesting stronger ties with India to bridge East-West relations.

The lecture concluded with the inauguration of an exhibition on the EU’s history and its relationship with India by Ambassador Delphin and Dr. Sreeram Chaulia, Dean of the Jindal School of International Affairs.
